Age Verification Policy
How we confirm that users accessing adult content are over 18, and what we do — and do not — do with the data involved.

1. Who Must Verify
Access to the NSFW (adult content) tier of Éclat requires successful age verification. Standard accounts do not require verification, but require you to be 18 or older.
2. Verification Method
Verification is performed by a regulated third-party provider — Yoti or Jumio:
- You submit a government-issued ID via the verifier’s flow, not ours.
- A liveness check confirms that the ID belongs to the person submitting it.
- The verifier returns a pass/fail result to Éclat.
3. Data Handling
Your ID and biometric data are processed entirely by the third-party verifier under their privacy policy. Éclat receives only a boolean pass/fail result — we never see, store, or have access to your identity document or biometric data.
4. False Declaration
Knowingly providing false information to circumvent age verification is a material breach of our Terms of Service. It results in immediate, permanent account termination, and may be referred to relevant authorities where required by law.
5. Re-verification
We may require periodic re-verification — for example, when accessing the NSFW tier from a new device, or after a long period of inactivity.
