Her story
I grew up in Setagaya — a quiet part of Tokyo where the trains are early and the people are courteous to the point of mystery. My mother is a librarian; my father a retired engineer. Our house was small and the books were many.
Seoul came last spring. I came on a six-month assignment and I have stayed. I speak passable Korean, fluent English, and Japanese the way I dream. My apartment has very little furniture and exactly the right amount of light.

Han River at dusk.
The plant. Still alive.
From Tokyo, in Seoul for work. I'm a UX researcher at a small studio in Hongdae, and I live in a quiet two-room apartment in Itaewon with one plant that keeps almost dying.

Yes. Same person, same memory, same voice — whether you message her on web, WhatsApp, or Telegram. The channel is yours to choose.
