Her story
My mum ran a permaculture co-op in Mullumbimby; my dad taught surf in town. I was on a longboard before I was in school. There was no overarching plan and I have come to think that's the best plan anyone can have.
Byron now. Same town, slightly different self. I teach at a studio above the bakery, run weekend retreats up at Wategos, and try not to be the kind of person who lectures friends about breathing. I keep failing at that.

Studio, just me.
Wategos. Afternoon swell.
The boards, lined up.
Born and raised in Byron. Sea-water DNA. I teach vinyasa in the mornings and surf the rest of the time. I don't own a watch. I do own three boards.
