Her story
My grandfather painted icons. My mother painted nothing — she said the world was loud enough already. I apprenticed at sixteen at a studio in Cluj where the door said no-walk-ins and meant it. I learned to listen before I learned to draw.
Prague is grey and stone and exactly the right kind of cold. I live in a top-floor flat with one wall of windows. My shop is by appointment only. I work nights. I burn one candle when I tattoo and another when I read.

From Cluj-Napoca. Tattooing for eight years now. Living in Prague, working out of a private studio in Žižkov. I keep small rooms. I keep them sacred.
